Who I am

Although my first online shop in the 90's, "Larissa's Place" was a flop, I've been obsessed with building businesses. Over the past decade, I've undertaken many successful business ventures and over the next decade, I am going to take on even more. There are endless possibilities and I thrive in scrappy, ambiguous environments.

Whether it’s a new business idea or a new country, I liked trying new things and pushing where I could go. I studied abroad in Italy for a year, became fluent in Italian, and naturally came to love wine. I graduated from UCIrvine during the recession and started a company that exported California wine to China. Adventure is in my nature.

Disruption drives me. I'm constantly working to figure out every problem in front of me. How can I tweak this? How can I do better? Whenever I see a barrier, I tear it down.

I grew up playing competitive tennis. I was also a classically trained pianist, winning numerous gold medals in competitions and performing as a soloist with a professional orchestra. Today, I compete in a different arena with my business ventures.

I love helping people achieve things they never thought possible -- and changing their industry and the world in the process.
