I’m Larissa

Currently based in 📍Los Angeles via Rome, Padova, Beijing, and San Francisco. Alumna of UC Irvine and University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

Intrigued by technology, traveling, classical music, strategy, wine, art, cooking, fabulous food, and even better conversations.

Seeking to be inspired, to envision the unlikely, to work hard for things that are worth it, and to be surrounded by those who bring out the best in me.

Entrepreneurially driven. Globally focused. Wine fueled.

As a vintner at heart—the next best thing is to intoxicate people with ideas. I love building startups, products, and teams. Like wine, it’s part art, part science, and a touch of alchemy.

As an innovation consultant based in Los Angeles, I work with companies and founders to drive entrepreneurship, growth strategy & operations. I love to build. Whether its bringing people & companies from 0 to 1, getting 1% better everyday, or scaling something completely new, I will do whatever it takes to succeed.

My Professional Interests

I have started a few companies (not all successful) and helped founders turn their ideas into reality. Experience with fundrasining and investing.

Strategy & Operations

I am often involved in the launch of new products and solutions and have experience building operationally-intensive products.

Product Development

I have deep understanding of the CPG/consumer world (food & beverage, alcohol, beauty, health & wellness) and building brands in these spaces.

International Experience & New Markets

Strong leadership and strategic mindset to accelerate growth in current markets while leading the strategy and execution of new market launches. I have successfully drove market penetration in multiple countries across Western Europe, China, and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions.

What I’m building and previous experience

I’m currently working as an independent consultant at Vinto Ventures, where I work with companies and founders to drive entrepreneurship, innovation, and growth. I implement growth tactics (research, analytics), technology solutions (web development, SEO, SEM) and Operations (production, recruiting, people operations, finance, and everything else that needs to get done).

Formerly, I was Founder and Head of International Operations at Quility Wine Partners, where I forged entry into Asian markets for major US wineries, creating new revenue streams. I also designed wine brands. Also, I’ve been lucky to have worked on projects to boost entrepreneurship locally (TenOneTen Ventures) and help shape economic policies to propel business growth globally (APEC Business Advisory Council).

I’m looking to be inspired, to envision the unlikely, to work hard for things that are worth it, and to be surrounded by those who bring out the best in me. Some of the side projects I’ve worked on:

// Lana Wines  — inspired to learn everything I could about the winemaking process I created my own brand from vine to bottle.

// TheDirtyFem — two sisters on a mission to support and provide women with organic cosmetics handmade with love in Los Angeles, California.

I’m excited to connect with people working on interesting ideas, and always happy to be a resource if I can be helpful. You can reach me at linsogna@gmail.com.

Why work with me?

Naturally curious

I roll up my sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful.

I am able think creatively and develop new and innovative solutions.

I am willing to go above and beyond to help companies and founders succeed.

Problem solver

I can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans.

I can influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions. I enjoy working with a team.
